Phoenix House

Rising above Addiction

Recovery Center

Welcome to Bronx Community Recovery Center

The Bronx Community Recovery Center (BCRC) is a community responsive, peer-driven support center. We welcome anyone seeking recovery regardless of their recovery approach. We provide services and resources in support of recovery from alcohol and drug misuse. We serve individuals 18 and older and their families.

Recovery means developing a community that strengthens each member and improves their quality of life. This is a place to meet people who have different backgrounds, talents, skills and who share the experience of recovery.

Bronx Community Recovery Center Staff at the Phoenix House Alumni Association Spring Fling.

Spring Fling

The Phoenix House Alumni Association hosted its 2nd Annual Spring Fling at St. Luke’s Church in The Bronx on Friday, June 4.  These clean and sober dances are held to encourage socialization in a drug and alcohol free environment. Open to anyone in recovery, as well as their friends and family members, the dance featured music by the great DJ Will. A great time was had by all who attended, including clients and staff from VESID and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Basics Inc., Promesa, Narco Freedom, Pibly and the Bronx Community Recovery Center.  Special thanks to Ms. Joan Hajjar, Ms. Letisia Romero, and the AmeriCorps members who volunteered their time to help make the night a success!
