About this Facility
Project Youth Empowerment Services (YES) is an after-school prevention/intervention program combined with tailored educational and career services. Our program is designed to serve at-risk adolescents, ages 13-20, in the early experimental stages of substance use and/or exhibiting other high-risk behaviors. Services delivered over an eight week period including an in-depth assessment, parent informational session, individual counseling, and weekly peer group sessions. Educational and vocational support is provided during the eight weeks of the program, and four months after. Upon completion, teens receive aftercare referrals to ensure that they receive continuing support. Project YES offers young people the opportunity to participate in a variety of services designed to help them live alcohol and drug-free lives. This program has an open referral base for youth residing in the Harlem community.
