About this Facility
The following Phoenix House programs are located on the grounds of our Brentwood, New York Campus:
The Brentwood Community Residence is a transitional residential facility for adult male clients who have completed substance abuse treatment but are not yet prepared for independent living. Our counselors and staff members provide essential support services and help them resolve outstanding clinical issues and remedy social and vocational obstacles to long-term recovery. We also admit referrals from other community-based treatment providers. Appropriate clients must be in need of housing that is conducive to their recovery.
Our Adult Residential Facility serves men in early recovery who seek a drug-free living environment as they transition back into the community. Our clinical services help clients develop the social and vocational skills necessary for independent living. We provide a structured therapeutic environment designed to facilitate individual progress.
Our Outpatient Programs for adults and adolescents provide individual, group, and family counseling; medical assessment; psychiatric evaluation; and case management. Accurate assessment of client needs and comprehensive individualized treatment planning are program priorities. The Impaired Driver Program offers NY State licensed and approved services provided by experienced licensed and certified staff. Services include short and long-term treatment, individual and group counseling, and assessments required by various agencies such as criminal justice, employers, and the courts.
The Military Services Program offers both outpatient and residential substance abuse and mental health treatment for military personnel, veterans and their family members. The program was designed with the capacity to deal with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), suicide prevention, and the unique needs of current and former military personnel.
The Brentwood Mental Health Community Residence Program provides restorative services to clients with mental health issues. We help clients return to the community, capable of sustaining a healthy, independent lifestyle.
Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS)/ Foundation for Integrated Recovery Services and Treatment (FIRST) Program is a flexible, recovery-oriented outpatient mental health program for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, most of whom also have substance abuse disorders. We offer a safe, supportive base in the community where clients can receive treatment services and engage in goal-oriented rehabilitation.
Most major insurance plans and all major credit cards are accepted.
