About this Facility

Our Long Island City Center’s Women’s Program provides innovative services to female clients using evidenced-based treatment practices. Our program offers an array of vital services and our staff is trained to meet the unique needs of women, including those who struggle with co-occurring mental health problems. Specially trained family counselors work with child welfare and the family court while helping mothers address parenting issues. Our research-tested programs deal with issues of parenting, trauma, emotional awareness, anger management, and relapse prevention. We also provide medical services and vocational support, as well as recreational programming.

Our Men’s Program provides services and treatment, involves individual and group counseling as well as the evidence-based therapeutic interventions that address specific client needs. The program allows clients to redefine who they are as human beings while addressing views on manhood/rites of passage. Counseling sessions allow our residents to articulate their feelings appropriately. The program provides comprehensive treatment within a safe, structured, and supportive living environment. Most major insurance plans and all major credit cards accepted.

Our Detoxification Program offers safe withdrawal from substance use, admitting clients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each client is seen by a licensed physician. The average length of stay is between four and seven days. This may extend to several weeks of continuing recovery and rehabilitative care. During their stay, all clients participate in an individualized treatment planning process that identifies their strengths, needs, and preferences, while establishing goals with specific and measurable objectives.
