About this Facility
Our detoxification program offers safe withdrawal from substance use, admitting clients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each client is seen by a licensed physician. The average length of stay is between four and seven days. This may extend to several weeks of continuing recovery and rehabilitative care. During their stay, all clients participate in an individualized treatment planning process that identifies their strengths, needs, and preferences, while establishing goals with specific and measurable objectives.
The Detoxification Program offers an extended stay option. This includes treatment for those who have finished detoxification, but are not yet ready to face the stress of daily life. Clients in both programs participate in one-on-one counseling sessions and group meetings to help them acclimate to sobriety.
Longer-term residential treatment is available at Phoenix House Long Island City Center. Located on the same campus, the Long Island City Center serves clients who no longer experience physical withdrawal, but who still need a controlled environment to maintain sobriety and learn the skills necessary to build a life in recovery.
Most major insurance plans and all major credit cards are accepted.
