About this Facility
The Bronx Community Recovery Center is a community responsive, peer-driven recovery support center. We welcome men and women, ages 18 and over, seeking recovery. All services are free of charge. We provide resources and referrals to vital community supports, including housing, employment, and vocational services. We facilitate referrals and provide resources to link individuals to community supports that assist in recovery from alcohol and substance misuse. Our goal is to inspire and empower our members with the recovery capital necessary to become healthy, purposeful and successful members of the community—and to enjoy the rewards of substance-free lives. We are committed to fostering health and wellness and to helping our members enhance their job readiness skills. Seminars promoting substance abuse prevention, education, exercise, and counseling are available at the Center.
In collaboration with other local organizations, we have created a Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) network, a community-based project through which peer volunteers and clinicians respond to the needs of men and women in recovery. We accomplish this with meetings and educational outreach.
