About this Facility
Located in the rolling hills of Marion County, Phoenix House’s Citra Center provides adult residential substance abuse treatment for men and women, including treatment for co-occurring mental health issues. Our services include individual treatment planning, specialized group therapy, life-skills training, health education, family re-integration assistance, and services to help ensure a sustained recovery.
Designed to support a well-rounded treatment experience, our Citra campus features a swimming pool, tennis and volleyball courts, a fitness trail, and workout equipment. Office-based detoxification services are available for both men and women, and treatment length is tailored to meet each client’s individual needs. A separate residential program designed exclusively for women provides trauma-informed, gender-specific treatment services.
At Phoenix House, each individual is guaranteed the highest quality of care, delivered with professionalism and respect. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding and accessible substance abuse treatment. Phoenix House Citra Center is accredited by CARF, a nationally recognized standard of excellence.

In various locations, Phoenix House provides independent assessments and evaluations of substance use disorders as requested by individuals, families, schools and the Criminal Justice System. See more details

Phoenix House’s residential treatment services are wide-ranging and comprehensive, allowing us to tailor each client’s treatment solutions to meet individual needs. Our adult medical and social detoxification and stabilization services first help each individual to safely detoxify and then connect them to the next level of care: either residential, sober living or outpatient services. See more details

Clients are evaluated by a psychiatrist for evaluation and on-going treatment, with medication if necessary.
