About this Facility
Phoenix House’s Teen Recovery Center (TRC) in Carlsbad, on the North Coast of San Diego County, offers comprehensive substance abuse and mental health outpatient services, as well as an intensive outpatient treatment program for adolescents ages 12 to 17. Our services include individual, group, and family counseling; anger management; 12-step programs; clean and sober recreational activities; educational support; and referrals to a variety of community service organizations. Family members participate throughout the course of the program, working towards creating a home environment that will support teens in their recovery.
Payment options include Medi-Cal and the following health insurance plans: Anthem Blue Cross, APS Healthcare, Cigna, Kaiser Permanente, Life Synch/Humana, Managed Health Network (MHN), Value Options, and Health Net. All major credit cards are accepted. The Teen Recovery Center is funded in part by the County of San Diego, Health and Human Services Department, Alcohol and Drug Services.

Adolescent Outpatient Services
Phoenix House adolescent programs provide treatment in a safe, supportive environment that gives youth and their families a chance to break free from substance abuse.
