The property has a large, private backyard with fruit trees (avocado, peach and orange), and nice, shaded porch for the residents to relax. In the backyard, there is a basketball hoop as well as weight-training equipment. Phoenix House provides household furnishings, linens, curtains, dishes, etc., but the residents are free to replace or supplement them with their own.

The three-bedroom house has two residents in each bedroom. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom, with all amenities and furnishings provided to the residents. Alta Vista, Monrovia, CA 91016; tel. 626-358-3989), in a two-bedroom house on a quiet residential street. This 12-bed program is co-located on the campus of Phoenix House Orange County (1207 E. Fruit Street, Santa Ana, CA 92701; tel. 714-953-9373). The facility is surrounded by green gardens and includes shaded patios with trees. The residents may use the kitchen and dining facilities on the premises of our adult program next door.
