Rising above Addiction

Phoenix House Orange County

Phoenix House Orange County

Phoenix House in Orange County is a co-ed residential program (1207 East Fruit Street, Santa Ana, CA 92701. Tel: 714-953-9373) located in a historic Mission-style building dating back to the 1920’s. The gracious, expansive campus offers ample living space, group and individual meeting rooms, internal courtyards, a large patio for sports and recreation, and an extensive yard for team sports. The Santa Ana facility enjoys a full softball field (installed by the Anaheim Angels), sand volleyball court, full-court basketball, horseshoe pit, large gardens, built-in BBQ’s with covered picnic area, and full work-out gym—organized fitness programming with equipment from 24-Hour Fitness.

Our program aims to bring about a commitment to recovery and the development of personal insight so that those in treatment can establish and maintain a productive and drug-free life upon program completion.  We help those in our care develop job skills, life skills, relapse prevention skills and healthy family and social relationships that will serve as their foundation when they return to life in the community.

Phoenix House addresses each person’s individual needs through a holistic approach, providing a full range of services, including family programs, reunification with children, and active linkages with other resources (vocational training, housing, etc.). The typical weekly schedule includes community meetings and activities, individual and group counseling, process groups, educational sessions, mental health counseling, vocational development activities, job search, self-help groups, health and wellness program (including Fit-For-Recovery Fitness Program on Saturdays), and recreational activities.
