Phoenix House is passionately dedicated to helping people work through their struggles with addiction and its related problems and to sustaining recovery.  We provide programs for adults along a continuum of care, ranging from prevention, through brief intervention, to residential services, outpatient programs, and ongoing recovery management.  We offer a flexible set of services of varying duration and intensity which embrace innovation, adopt the best practices in our field, focus treatment on the individual and provide continuing recovery support. We treat each individual with dignity and place emphasis on empathy and compassion that bind the treatment community together.

Adult Residential Treatment Programs

Phoenix House operates residential drug and alcohol treatment programs for adults in Los Angeles and Orange Counties in the following locations:

  • Phoenix House Venice – Treatment program for men, located in a three-story building on the beach, with clear views of the Pacific Ocean: 503 Ocean Front Walk, Venice, CA 90291. Tel.: 310-392-3070
  • Phoenix House Monrovia – Treatment program for women, located in a friendly small-town neighborhood near the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains: 343 West Foothill Blvd. Monrovia, CA 91016. Tel.: 626-357-8612
  • Phoenix House Santa Fe Springs – Treatment program for women with young children, located in a spacious compound with a large playground and garden: 11015 South Bloominfield Avenue, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670. Tel.: 562-941-8042
      
  • Phoenix House Orange County – Co-ed program located in a historic Mission-style structure with modern amenities and spacious outdoor sports and recreation areas: 1207 East Fruit Street, Santa Ana, CA 92701. Tel.: 714-953-9373 

Adult Outpatient Treatment Programs

Phoenix House operates outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs for adults in Los Angeles County (Venice and Santa Fe Springs) and Orange County (Santa Ana):

Adult Sober Living Programs

We continue providing housing to residential program graduates after their completion of treatment and while they attend outpatient programs. Four sober living residences are located in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Admissions & Fees

To enroll in either residential, sober living, or outpatient treatment programs, or to speak to one of our trained staff, please click on the program name above that interests you.

Phoenix House is supported by multiple funding sources. The exact fee paid for service depends on each individual case, personal income, and funding source. Fees may be paid by:

  • Insurance benefits, with copayments determined by insurance plans;
  • MediCal and Drug MediCal for low-income clients;
  • Government contracts for qualifying individuals without the ability to pay; and
  • Self-pay, with a sliding fee scale, based on income.

      Phoenix House operates Community Residences throughout the country for people who are struggling with substance abuse and diagnosed mental illness. Licensed by local and state agencies, our residential programs offer a structured, safe and supportive living environment where clients can receive comprehensive treatment.     • Outpatient

      Phoenix House offers emergency help, evaluation and referral services, and short-term treatment for clients who are living at home.
    • Center on Addiction and the Family (COAF)

      Help and Hope for families affected by alcohol and other drug abuse.
  • Helpful Information

    • Should I be worried?

    • What's an intervention?

      When people engage in self-destructive behavior, they often don't realize that they need help. An intervention is when family members or friends confront a loved one about his or her addiction, express their concern, and offer suggestions about how and where to get help.
