What is a safe level of drinking?

Early use of drugs and alcohol increases your teen’s chances of more serious drug abuse and drinking problems later in life.  Remember, drugs change brains – particularly young, developing brains, and this can lead to addiction, alcoholism, memory and other serious problems. So preventing early use of drugs or alcohol may reduce the risk of progressing to later abuse and addiction.

Also keep this in mind: Teenage drinking (in fact, drinking prior to age 21) is illegal.
