If a person is only using marijuana, could treatment still be needed?

Even though many people think marijuana is not a “hard drug,” it is still an illegal drug and there are many people who meet criteria for addiction to marijuana.  For these people, involvement with marijuana has disrupted their lives and families, and affected their motivation, memory, and schoolwork or career.  They may have tried to stop smoking, but have not been successful. Treatment is an appropriate option and Phoenix House can help.
