Since 1967, Phoenix House has been helping people of all ages from all walks of life lead fulfilling, drug-free, lives. We treat some 6,000 men, women and teens each day in more than 100 drug and alcohol treatment programs in nine states.

About Treatment

The Phoenix House treatment method has been successfully adapted to a wide range of client groups and programs.

California

Phoenix House operates more than 20 residential and outpatient drug treatment programs for teens and adults in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties.

Florida

Serving communities in Florida since the early 1990s, Phoenix House operates outpatient treatment programs for teens and their families in Tampa, and residential drug treatment programs for adults in Citra, Ocala and Tampa.

New England

Some 2,500 adults and teenagers receive treatment each day at our programs in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

New York

Phoenix House was founded in New York City. Today, there are more than 30 residential and outpatient drug treatment programs for teens and adults in New York City, upstate New York, and Long Island.

Texas

Phoenix House operates treatment and prevention programs for adolescents in Dallas, Austin and the Houston/Galveston Bay area.

Criminal Justice Programs

For nearly 40 years, Phoenix House, has been helping drug troubled men and women gain their freedom-from both incarceration and from the prison of their addiction.

Family Support

Alcohol and drug abuse is a family problem, and recovery is a family process.

      Phoenix House operates Community Residences throughout the country for people who are struggling with substance abuse and diagnosed mental illness. Licensed by local and state agencies, our residential programs offer a structured, safe and supportive living environment where clients can receive comprehensive treatment.     • Outpatient

      Phoenix House offers emergency help, evaluation and referral services, and short-term treatment for clients who are living at home.

  • Helpful Information

    • Should I be worried?

      How can you tell if a teen is involved with drugs? There are no hard and fast rules, but there are warning signs. Learn how to spot the most common signs and symptoms of teen drug abuse. Click here to visit our Drug Facts section.
    • What's an intervention?

      When people engage in self-destructive behavior, they often don't realize that they need help. An intervention is when family members or friends confront a loved one about his or her addiction, express their concern, and offer suggestions about how and where to get help.
