			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-9665" href="http://www.phoenixhouse.org/new-england/climb-recovery-2/attachment/monadnock1-150x150/" class="broken_link"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-9665" title="monadnock1-150x150" src="http://www.phoenixhouse.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/monadnock1-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a>On Saturday, June 12, 2010, more than 100 participants gathered at one of the world&#8217;s most frequently climbed mountains, Mount Monadnock, New Hampshire to participate in <em>Climb for Recovery!</em></p>
<p>Members of the New Hampshire recovery community, as well as the community at large came together to share in a day of exhilirating outdoor adventure celebrating life, health and wellness.  After a group climb of the trails of Mount Monadnock, the day ended with a picnic featuring live music at Phoenix House Dublin Center.</p>
<p>The event raised nearly $6,000, all dedicated to support the efforts of Phoenix House New Hampshire.</p>

MarcAurele, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Washington Trust Company, was honored at the event for his outstanding leadership and contributions to the community. Before assuming his position at the The Washington Trust Company, Mr. MarcAurele, a long-time and generous corporate supporter of Phoenix House, served as Chairman, President and CEO of Citizens Bank Rhode Island.   In that capacity, he was responsible for a major grant in support of renovations to the Learning Center at <a href="http://www.phoenixhouse.org/locations/new-england/new-england-drug-help/rhode-island/adolescent-programs-ri/" target="_blank" class="broken_link">Phoenix House Academy at Wallum Lake</a>.</p>
<p>The luncheon, which annually honors exceptional men and women whose achievements serve as an inspiration to young people struggling with substance abuse, was attended by more than three hundred and thirty guests and raised more than $127,000 in support of Phoenix House&#8217;s treatment, education, and prevention programs throughout the New England region.</p>
