Adolescent Outpatient Programs - Rhode Island

Phoenix House operates three outpatient programs for teens at centers in Providence, Wakefield and Westerly, Rhode Island.

Parental involvement is a key element of the program. Families take part in extensive education, therapy, and recreation activities throughout the course of the drug treatment program, and work towards creating a home environment that will support teens in their recovery from addiction.

School Based Prevention Programs

Phoenix House prevention specialists deliver on-site prevention and intervention services in Narragansett, Rhode Island. Our knowledgeable staff present substance abuse prevention programs to students, teachers, and parents while working with school officials to develop policies and protocols for prevention and intervention.

We also perform assessments and interventions on students with drug or alcohol problems, if requested to do so by school administrators and staff. Students struggling with substance abuse are referred to nearby Phoenix House facilities in Rhode Island or other programs as appropriate.
