Still I Rise
The theme of this year’s Phoenix House graduation in Citra, FL was "Still I Rise," a message of hope for the future. Abriel (pictured, on the left), a long-term methamphetamine addict arrested for possession in July, 2002, is today a proud graduate of Phoenix House, attending regular outpatient meetings. "Getting arrested and being sent to Phoenix House was the best thing that has ever happened to me," said Abriel. "I feel like now I’m a person with a future."
